End Metal Theft began in the field, not in an office. In 2010, our founder was working as a contractor for the City of Peoria. Wire theft kept hitting the same park over and over. Every time the repairs were finished, thieves returned at night and pulled the wire out again. Nothing on the market actually stopped them. It was costing the city money, burning time on every schedule, and putting teams back out to fix the same exact locations. The problem was obvious. There needed to be a way to lock down the opening on the pole itself.
The first version of our locking cover was built as a direct response to a real world problem. The design was simple, tough, and focused on one goal which was keeping the wire inside the pole and giving the contractor control of the situation. It was installed at Sundance Park in 2010. Sixteen years later, those same covers are still in place with zero repeat theft.
That experience changed everything. It proved that a simple, well designed solution can eliminate metal theft permanently at the point of attack.

Downspout Nozzles
After the success of the handhole locking covers, the next major problem brought to us was downspout theft. Bronze and brass downspouts were being stolen from buildings, schools, and commercial sites at a high rate. The answer was not replacing the metal downspout. The answer was removing the metal from the equation completely. This led us to design plastic downspout nozzles as a permanent alternative.
